The Cowgirls finished their season this evening against Keller with a 2-5 loss. Kaitlyn O'Quinn and Chloe Barker each had a triple. Nora Rodriquez was on the mound for the Cowgirls and pitched a solid game.
We are very thankful for such a supportive group of family, friends and fans this season. We wish the best of luck to our seniors Kaitlyn O'Quinn, Nora Rodriguez, Hunter Handley and Ari Figueroa. Thanks for a great four years! Looking forward to next season already.
The Cowgirls shut out Irving Nimitz last night with a 14-0 victory. Nora Rodriguez was on the mound with a one hitter and a shut out with Ari Figueroa behind the plate. Offensively, Adrianna Erichsen and Nora each had a double while Dafne Mercado had two doubles. Sydney Ingle led of the game with a a home run and Hunter Handley had 2 RBI's for the night.
We are thankful for the seniors and their leadership in the program. We are excited about playoffs and will face Keller. When final decisions are made with location and time we will announce on Twitter.

The Cowgirls unfortunately lost 0-1 Tuesday night against Flower Mound. The Cowgirls gave up a run in the first inning and shut out Flower Mound’s hitters the entire game only allowing 2 hits after that for the rest of the game. The defense played well behind Nora Rodriguez pitching on the mound. The offense had several runners on base but was not able to capitalize on those runners.
The Cowgirls are in play again Thursday evening at 7PM for Senior night at Coppell against Irving Nimitz. Come out and support in our last district game of the season!
The Coppell Cowgirls defeated Flower Mound for the third time this season with a score of 11-6. They faced the Jaguars twice in district and once in a pre-season tournament.
Baker also proved to be solid for the Cowgirls offensively as well. She hit two home runs, one in third and one in the fifth, which brought in seven runs total. Reagan Stange also recorded an extra base hit with a triple for the Cowgirls. Overall the JV team had ten hits for the game.
The Cowgirls close out district on Thursday, April 18th. They end with a home game against Irving Nimitz at 5:00. Following the game will be Senior night.
The Cowgirls won against Irving 16-1 this evening. The defense played well behind Abigail Weeden. The Cowgirls offense was strong tonight with Sydney Ingle, Dafne Mercado, Adrianna Erichsen, Hunter Handley and Ari Figueroa getting two hits. Kaitlyn O'Quinn led the night going three for three.
The Cowgirls travel to Flower Mound tomorrow and host senior night against Irving Nimitz at home on Thursday. Come out and support your Cowgirls!!
The Cowgirls were down early in the game and fought until the very last inning scoring 3 in the top of the 7th making the score 6-7. The Cowgirls fought hard the entire game and were able to answer back multiple innings but still fell short and lost 6 to 7.
The Cowgirls had a strong offensive night with Olivia Reed going 2 for 4, Kaitlyn O'Quinn 3 for 4, and Nora Rodriguez 2 for 3.

The Coppell Cowgirls JV was saddled with their first loss of the district tonight in a tough battle against Marcus. The Cowgirls came back from a 0-3 deficit and battled to a score of 2-3. Rhyan Pogue took the loss on the mound for the Cowgirls despite having 7 strikeouts.
At bat, ElleBelle Zimmerman and Katherine Miller both hit doubles for the Cowgirls in the 5th inning to make it a close game. Adelyn Wilson had multiple hits to keep the Cowgirls in the game. Overall the Cowgirls totaled six hits in the game.
The next game is scheduled for Saturday, April, 13th at 5:00 at home.
