Coach Krug grew in Arlington, Texas and is a graduate of Martin High School. After high school she went on to play four years at the collegiate level.

She is a graduate of Ranger College and Sam Houston State University. Before coming to Coppell High School, she was head coach at Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas. She has been playing and coaching softball for 26 years. This is her third year at CHS as Head Coach.
