Build-A-Bear Service Learning Project

This is a wonderful project to give the softball team to give back to the community. CHS softball players will go to Build-A-Bear at Grapevine Mills mall and build a bear to take to the kids at the Shriner’s Hospital.

Includes ALL CHS Softball Players

Saturday January 14^th

Meet in the Parent Loop (by the field house) at 9:15

Bring money to build a Bear and to have lunch

- $10 buys a bear but most of the girls will want to dress their bear

- $10 will probably cover lunch

- So at the very least bring $20

Pick your player up from the Parent Loop at 2:30

IMPORTANT: We need at least 5 parents to volunteer to chaperone this event.

Please everyone make plans to participate and make this project a success!

Successful Fall Season for the Cowgirls

The 2011 fall season came to a successful close and the Cowgirls finished strong.

What made it a success? While winning almost all of our games was good, having fun during the fall was paramount to the program. Girls played positions they normally don’t (nor would they really want to) but they had fun doing it… Once they got over their initial shock. The bats were pretty darn hot all fall and everyone up and down the lineup was swinging well.

Thanks to the girls for playing but a special thanks to the parents and the spectators out there supporting the Cowgirls.

A New Year

The summer has come and gone and we are beginning our new school year starting on August 22. We have some exciting events planned in the fall and spring including our annual BBQ fundraiser and raffle. Come join us you will not leave hungry. Check our website for upcoming important dates and activities you will not want to miss. Before you know it our flags will be flying in the wind at the Softball Complex on game days. In the spring when the flags are flying you know we are playing so come join us and watch exciting softball.

BBQ Dinner Fundraiser

Come join the Coppell Cowgirl softball team for our annual BBQ dinner hosted by the booster club and the Cowgirl softball players. The dinner will be on Friday October 28th from 4-7 in the CHS Commons. Tickets are $10 (Adults) and $8 (students). In addition raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 dollars for prizes
